Privacy Policy
mayankkoli.com ("this site") is the personal portfolio and CV website of Mayank Koli. This page describes what data the site collects when you visit or contact me, how it is used, and how you can have it removed.
What this site collects
- Contact form submissions — if you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are sent to me by email via FormSubmit. Nothing is submitted unless you click "Send Message".
- No accounts, no sign-in — the site has no user accounts and never asks you to sign in to any service.
- No tracking cookies — the site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own and uses no advertising identifiers.
Third-party services
The site loads a small number of third-party resources, each of which may receive your IP address and standard browser information as part of serving the request:
- FormSubmit — delivers contact-form messages to my inbox. Your message passes through their service only when you submit the form.
- Google Fonts — serves the site's typefaces.
- Google Maps — renders the embedded location map in the contact section, subject to Google's privacy policy.
- GitHub Pages — hosts the site and may log requests (IP address, user agent) for security and operational purposes, per GitHub's privacy statement.
No data collected through this site is sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties beyond the services listed above.
The on-page assistant
The "AI assistant" chat widget on this site runs entirely in your browser and answers from a fixed set of facts about my CV. Your chat messages are not sent to any server and are discarded when you close the page.
Data retention and deletion
Contact-form messages are kept in my email inbox so I can reply to you. To have your messages deleted, email manukoli1986@gmail.com and I will remove them within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
